Funny I was in Mauritania last week and thought it looked like Tatooine. Desert is similar with lone mobile sand dunes.

They weren’t all built to be abandoned. The catina scene is in a troglodyte hotel in Matmata, Tunisa. It’s high on my list of places to visit as I ride my motorcycle round the world.
