Hoppingbagaaa Spotted in the continually-excellent PAPER magazine, this embroidered taffeta tote designed by Lauren DiCioccio. Very clever. Have a nice day. "Thank You, Thank You Tote Bag"

UPDATE: Melisa Breiner-Sanders points out that a very similar bag, by Jennifer Reichert, is one of the projects included in the BUST DIY Guide To Life. Speaking of which, BUST is another magazine that's been around for decades and is still excellent.

“Very clever”? I don’t get it.

I used to love that magazine when I lived in Manhattan in the late 80s. I’m glad it’s still around and still “continually excellent.”

    $35?? Seriously??

      I know!  That’s so cheap!

No need to buy an expensive plastic tote bag when those cheap plastic bags you get at most retailers can actually be reused.

did either of these artists think to credit the original designer of the “thank you thank you” plast ic bag? I think not.
