		<description>Now this is interesting. I&#039;m all for using any image in one&#039;s art work. An artist should be free to use any public image (as opposed to a private one) in his/her work. Newspaper photos are particularly juicy and were used by all the greats until Shepard Fairey was sued for using a photo of Pres. Obama that was originally printed in a newspaper or at least it was taken by a professional photographer. I&#039;m just wondering if the NYT is cool with this piece and if so shouldn&#039;t a drawing or painting from one of their photos be fair game? </description>
