More than a year ago, porn celeb Ron Jeremy was reportedly asked by animal rights activists to help snare animal torturer (and eventual "Canadian Cannibal") Luka Rocco Magnotta by inviting him to be in an X-rated film. Jeremy: “It’s like an episode from some TV show. The [guy] comes to the set with lube in one hand and his schmeckle in the other thinking he has a job, and the cops tackle him to the ground. That’s good for the movies. That doesn’t work in real life.” (The Canadian Press)

You mean Rocco and the animal rights people, right?

Ron shouldn’t.  He’s not bad if you can get used to the fact that he never shuts up.  Just goad him on with an occasional word of encouragement and listen to the unending spew, some of which is actually intelligent and funny.

I think “Ron Jeremy” and “unending spew” usually have a different connotation.

Rescue Ink had a reality show on NatGeo.  This story takes on a new light when you know that the people organizing this sting were also pitching it to a network.

It worked quite well for Chris Hansen in “To Catch a Predator”.

Just a reminder that Mr. Jeremy was once a fine looking young man.

I find it interesting that in the mid-80s, Ginger Lynn did a movie with Ron.  It was a semi-romantic thing shot on location in some lovely place with lots of tropical beaches.  The scenery was gorgeous.  At the time, he looked like the pic you posted.

Years later, after Ron turned into … well … what he turned in to, Ginger denied ever doing any scenes with him.

      Maybe she just forgot?

If I was to use Ron Jeremy as bait, I’d never know where to set the hook.  Crickets and worms require less deliberation.

When did Magnotta get the “Cannibal” moniker? I am unaware of any story that he ate part of his victim.

    • Antinous / Moderator

That’s been reported almost from the beginning. I don’t think that there’s any actual evidence of it, though.

      • abstract_reg

Maybe it’s because I got all my news on this from CBC, but I thought that saying he shipped body parts cross-country would be gross enough.

      • Tribune

I think that was because it happened reasonably close to the Florida “Not Bath Salts” eat your face guy and several other similar stories/events.

Cannibalism is the new basement slavery.

There is a video of him eating parts of the guy he eventually mailed body parts of to various elementary schools and political offices. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luka_Magnotta

Saw the video – he clearly eats some of the flesh in numerous parts…so. That’s probably where it came from.

I bet it would’ve worked to catch Ron Jeremy.
