It looks great, but, 100% legal, really? Top of the sounds page, The complete run of all 10 LPs from Brian Eno's Obscure Records 1975-78.

That photo was clearly swiped from a Terry Gilliam animation. You know the one. His hair's parted differently, though.

As you guys probably discovered, you can download, as well as stream any of those pieces. When you have nothing but time, check out all the "sound" stuff available on ubu >> http://www.ubu.com/sound/ (TapeBeatles, Public Works, People Like Us, and Tellus tapes especially recommended!) Also, poke around for films you can stream or download... (Sun Ra!)

It's a great compilation, but it's also severely lame that they had to include Divine's rip off of Blue Monday as they don't have the New Order original in their library!

I was about to chime in on the name. As it happens right now I'm listening to Alain Jehan, who was mentioned in the book "Conversations with Olivier Messiaen" as a favorite composer deserving of more attention along with O.M.'s teacher Charles Tournemire. If you haven't checked them out and if you're fond of early Messiaen you might have a listen.

Assuming we're talking about the same fellow, it's Olivier Messiaen, whom I know too much about because I wrote a few papers on him back in music school. The dude liked birds.
