The Verge rounds up release-date rumors surrounding Google's Nexus 7 Android tablet, well-received by critics. GameStop allegedly already has them in-store, but under lock and key; leaked inventory data from Office Depot suggests they'll be receiving them tomorrow at the earliest; B&H lists an August street date; and Google itself is promising delivery in 1-2 weeks, if you order right now.

    I ordered mine June 30th, and no word as of yet from Google when it’ll get to me.

    … and if Google says 1 -2 weeks from now, then that’s 1 -2 weeks or more from the date we already pre-ordered. something is a mis in the rumor mill. :|
