ADVERTISE AT BOING BOING!
(Video Link, via Joe Sabia).
Clearly Bentley wants you to put down that silly video gadget & either cuddle or roughhouse or something more fun than videoing!
At the end he’s all, “Feh!”
He wants to eat your face.
Every day should include a puppy break.
At the 1:00 mark, he forgot what he was doing.
I’m told that bulldogs are dumb, dumb, dumb.
My heart, she breaks!
Looks and sounds like a Houndeye from Half Life.
As John Caparulo said, it’s not like the dog is going to be doing your taxes.
In practice, bulldogs aren’t too dumb. They can be housebroken and trained, which is more than can be said for some.
[edit: this was supposed to be in response to PaulR's comment.]
Their chief quality is that they can be left alone all day, because they don’t realize you’re gone until just before you get back.
Its alpha behavior. Not to be encouraged. We think “cute”, dogs think “bitch slapped”.
“Aw, cute!” /dog grows up, becomes terror
He wants to go to the tailor. His skin is about three sizes too big.
yeah, might be cute in a puppy. not going to be cute behavior in a few months or years… un-training later is harder than training early.
Puts me in mind of “Frisky Puppy,” a Chuck Jones creation. (At about 0:48 you hear very similar puppy vocalizations.)
