I am pretty good at hangman, but I feel like not speaking Bangla would be a major disadvantage. Vanna White seems like a natural hangman’s assistant.

Being a hangman has never been a glamorous job.
The Reuters post says that one of their former hangmen was promoted. Promoted to what?? Guillotine operator?
Promoted to mid-level management. Now he sits in a cubicle doing executions resource planning, updating convict status in the Excel spreadsheet, mucking around in SAP, and preparing weekly reports for senior Corrections management. Sometimes he misses working outdoors, but it’s hard to argue with that paycheck.
