The Biomes O'Plenty Minecraft mod adds wild varieties of landscape to the blocky exploration and building game: wastelands, craggy outcroppings, hazy savannah, ominous woodlands, orchards, and much else besides. [via RPS]
BiomesXL : http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1090288-132-extrabiomesxl-300-universal/ is the original this mod is a copy of. It’s also a LOT easier to install…
Plus this one doesn’t use forge, so compatibility is out the window unless your in the cult of flowerchild and BTW. No biome config either…
I notice a distinct lack of the Far Lands in this mod.
There are hundreds of mods available for Minecraft. Why plug this one?
Because I like it.
Me too, but I’m a vanilla guy.
I believe Hazy Savannah danced at my bachelor party. Nice grasslands.
Thanks for posting this. I don’t play, but my kids do and will be excited about this. And thanks for the link, minecraftcpw,
I am particularly glad because my kids also play Terraria. The developer just abruptly threw in the towel on that, with undue finality. So I’m happy to see the Minecraft community is still going strong.
Awesome.. I just don’t want to have to texture it all to fit my texture pack 0.o
