Why does this news come out when I have a cold? A week before we went to China in 2003, I was having the worst flu I could recall (24 trips to the bathroom in 24 hours), and while that was going on, they announced the existence of SARS. It was like I was getting a free preview or something. I suppose next time my foot hurts, they'll announce a virus that slams you on the toe with a rubber mallet. Damn it. Why does this news come out when I have a cold?
