Is still one of my favorite lines in movies of all time.

Almost everything Dr Strangelove is awesome, and this is among the awesome. I plan to watch the other parts.

The sad thing is that many people who have not studied this film well sometimes make fun of Major Kong, played by Slim Pickens. If you pay attention to the film you understand that Maj. Kong is depicted as the perfect USAF crew commander. He does everything by the book, except for taking off his helmet and replacing it with his cowboy hat.

Kong Never gave up. His plane was hit by a SAM, he held his crew together. They were running low on fuel because of damage from the SAM, he selected a new target from an approved list. The bomb release mechanism failed, he repaired it at the cost of his own life knowing that Zogg would trigger the release as soon as the repairs were made.

Of all the scenes from that movie, he chooses ones where people sit around talking? He sure got the look right though.

I was so excited to see this! The filming, the set, and the especially the characters were done extremely well. But without facial expressions and the body language, the timing of the dialogue becomes alienated. The actor's demeanor is almost non existent. :(

Tons of talent, just the wrong movie. How about an action scene from Indiana Jones? :)
