Cory in Redondo Beach today

Yo, Redondo Beach! You're my last west coast stop on this leg of the Pirate Cinema tour, and I'll be at Mysterious Galaxy today at 2:30PM (I'll be back on this coast later to visit Vancouver, Victoria and Seattle). I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

I hope to see an internet video version of the talk you give, it was really good. I mean, I knew all that stuff already, but it’d be great to give to people who don’t read BB or other such sites as a primer. I know there are videos out there with you discussing the same topics but none I’ve seen where you cover everything in quite this way.

(also, for some reason your heavy Toronto accent didn’t really come through in any videos I’ve seen of you – as a Buffalonian it pleased me)
