I would imagine male Homo Erectus dongs are selective vis-a-vis (I NEVER get to use that) peeing while fleeing (and remember, most mammals actually have a real BONE there. Scout’s honor). And I could see access to potable sterile fresh water (via urine) being very important for land-dwellers, even though that doesn’t seem to be what MOST people use it for (suckers). Also, this?

I dunno if urinating through its mouth is much more bizarre than the somewhat more common “urinating through the male reproductive organ”, or the “breathing, eating and drinking through the same tube” found in humans.
