I think Ms. Harry needs to revisit her research – how can you talk about the development of The Pogo without mentioning Sid Vicious?
Yeah because the Sex Pistols invented everything punk.
Little-known fact: they also invented toast.
Cos the Sex Pistols were no more than a boy band. McLaren, however, was a genius.
Don’t forget Rotten/Lydon though. That man has also had his periods of genius over the years.
Why does the guitarist jamming sound like such crap?
I’ve always loved that Harry sounds like someone eating in the booth next to you in a turnpike diner.
I did get a real “cuppa quaff-ee” vibe from that clip.
looks like she had too many “waters” that night.
Was she in a group?
She’s probably the youngest person I’ve heard say “bottle” the old-fashioned New York way. But only by a few years; previously I thought the cutoff was 1940. On a related note, in that famous Tom Snyder KISS interview, Paul Stanley says “Broadway” the old-fashioned way, with the stress on the second syllable.
