If you watch the video in the Kotaku link, the character is Hillary Clinton-esque, but has a different name and looks a lot younger than 77.

It will have a bit more staying power because it involves a sitting Democrat president. If it were a Republican it would already have been forgotten, and anyone talking about it would be accused of ‘playing politics’.

There are a great many examples.

I think it has staying power because there may many layers, vectors and complexities. Even the FBI investigator (Eric Cantor’s leaker?) seems to have sent inappropriate emails to one of the women. This is going to be good.

Bad timing for the game developer, though nobody who plays the game is going to care much.

You guys are seriously overestimating the staying power of this scandal. It only took 25 years for the Watergate guys to find themselves working in government again – and seen as good guys. This scandal will only last until the next one begins, and then nobody will speak of it ever again.

Petraeus will go on to sit on the boards of arms manufacturers, and start lobbying for them at massive pay rates. Everyone else will forget he exists.
