Only 24,979 signatures and President Obama will either have to do the hokey pokey, or explain to the American people why he refuses to put his left foot out. (This is probably the best response to all the secession petitions yet. Thanks, Kyle Whitmire!)

    I’d love to see Obama do the hokey pokey with the resulting Fox News coverage calling it a “Terrorist Twist,” reminiscent of the “terrorist fist bump” that he shared with his wife.

    The petition has been removed from the site because it violated the terms of service.

    I’m curious as to which of the terms of service it violated?  The terms don’t seem to have a clause about stupid and frivolous petitions.  (If it did, then, frankly, most of the petitions would go away.)

      I’d guess it would fall under “petitions that do not address the current or potential actions or policies of the federal government”, but I might be wrong.

      In any case, “there may be other petitions on We the People on a similar issue that you’d like to add your name to”.
