I am still in shock every time I think both Balance and Sleazy are gone. TG seems to get the most screen time these days, but Coil is one of the most important electronic acts to ever exist, in my opinion. Their music was profound, innovative and magical.

Ha! When I pressed play, I got distorted digital noise followed by some sort of rhythmic bubbling, this kept repeating. As I’m familiar with TG I figured it was “supposed” to be that way, but when I jumped to this page and played it again, I heard something distinctly different.

“Desertshore” shouldn’t be described as challenging. Nico did some challenging albums, but “Desertshore” is certainly one of the more accessible.
