It quite plainly does have a cornis, which the suffix '-corn' indicates, and which the word "horn" comes from in the first place.

Actually the patent makes it quite clear that it's not a mutation of any kind.

According to my old Monster Manual, unicorns only have a 5% chance of being in their lair, so the odds were well against them finding it at home.

For the record, it wouldn't be the western white horse unicorn, but the far more reptilian beast known throughout asia as a Qilin/Kirin.

How did the scientists know that this was the famed unicorn's lair? "A rectangular rock carved with words "Unicorn Lair" stands in front of the lair." This according to the KCNA, which is the official state news agency, so you know it must be true.

I'm still trying to see what the prob with this is, unless the carvings are really frauds fabricated by North Korean archaeologists. There are coins and such with Minotaurs on them from Knossos/Crete. That is part of the mythology which also is part of the area's history. Now if you believe that monsters *actually* were running around despite no proof, then that's a problem, especially if you're an archaeologist, it's also a notion that's believed by nearly 7 billion of Earth's citizens.

... unicorn's layer in Pyongyang. Not surprisingly, the magical animal itself was nowhere to be found as this is the home of a unicorn said to have been ridden by King Tongmyong

Hmmm...

Does nobody proof-read these things?
