Bernardo sends us his "Unique sculptural mashup of beautiful Chinese Goldfish and Fabulous American 50's cars as produced by Bernardo. Each piece is handmade and hand painted by the artist."

Carp! by Bernardo (Thanks, Bernardo!)

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

Shouldn’t they be called car gills?

Maybe I’m not running on all cylinders, but it seems like the artistic concept sort of flounders.

Man, having on of those sitting on your desk just screams class and good taste.

I’ll keep my classic and classy singing fish, though. You cannot beat that one as a marker of desk decoration luxury.

class and good taste would be doing it and looking good too.

They’re not ‘vintage cars‘. ‘Classic‘, maybe.
