  • Brainspore

    Stupid holodeck malfunctions.

Show it to me from another angle.

I wonder how many people trip over their feet in there. It must be pretty disorienting and “trippy”. (Fun! And… woozy?)

  • http://tokyofarm.com Spencer Cross

Very cool, but as Brainspore alludes to it will only work from the spot where the photo is taken (which I would assume is the entrance). I would love to see it from the other side.

We had the same carpet at my old school (http://mdm.gnwc.ca). After a while you kind of don’t notice it any more, but if you’re ever stumbling around in a semi-drunk Christmas party haze, the carpet suddenly becomes your worst enemy.

When I used to work at GNWC during prelaunch and Corhorts 1-2, I was always falling over and feeling nauseous from it. It was awful. Terrible, terrible carpet.

A quick Google image search yields some pictures from other angles. Here is one  http://www.egecarpets.com/Files/Billeder/Sidebilleder/Inspiration/Referencefotos/Commercial/commercial_carpet_025.jpg

      That’s the same angle.

  • GawainLavers

    I haz a barfy.

It really could be a serious problem for someone with vertigo. Maybe they’re assuming that no one with that condition would be shopping for video games?
