A steep drop into a bad place

If you think the fiscal cliff is bad, Kodiak, Alaska is dealing with a "fecal cliff" — a crisis in where to put raw sludge from the local sewage treatment plant. (Via Charles Homans)

  1. How  far is Kodiak from the Palin family compound?  That place is already knee deep in BS so a little sewage sludge would go relatively unnoticed.

  2. Ah, biosolids and the unending question about what to do with them.  Maggie, you should do a write-up on biosolids, as I’m sure you’ll find that there’s plenty of interesting ground to cover.
