He had a very dim view of most lubes on the market.  I'm of that age where it would be nice to be able to buy a lube and know it's safe, but the ph on most of them conflict with vaginal flora, to my  understanding, and the ingredient list seems to be a hodge podge of whatever is cheapest.  I believe Smitten Kitten looks a little more seriously at their sex products, but can't say for sure about the lubes in particular.  I talked to my gynecologist about this.
