Whoever is cooking your sprouts is doing it wrong.

Sulfur means they’ve been overcooked.

they’re good when really fresh (right now, from the central coast of my fair state) and roasted in the oven with a little olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic. Or, pan fried with a little pancetta.
there’s a pizza place in NYC called Motorino that does a pie with that and cheese. damn, it’s good.
