I was disappointed at first that I missed the deadline and it failed to be funded. But then I read the goal of the kickstarter was to produce a limited edition run of 25 maps, 5 of which go to the first 5 $250+ doners, the rest of which would be sold on his website (unknown price). Then the goals on the side contradict this and we learn that it's actually the $500+ doners who get a copy of the map. I'm not 100% sure if the entire campaign isn't satire (there are certainly funny ironic comments in the rewards) or just hubris.
This kickstart campaign was not crafted to have wide appeal and unfortunately the results show it.
