If the postcard is a hoax, it’s not far off from HPL’s actual correspondence. His letters would get up to 200 pages in length — far longer than any of his stories, oddly enough.

I’m confused. The article on The Revelator is fiction, but the postcard is real, right? If not, the idea that someone would put that much time and effort into creating this particular hoax amazes me more than the original story.
