  Yep. I know both of them well. Tim Ferriss is my friend and Tim Ferris was my mentor in graduate school. They are both smart, curious, and kind people. That said, Tim Ferriss could likely out-lift Tim Ferris but Tim Ferris would crush Tim Ferriss in tennis.
