I didn’t see it the first time, now I see it. (I actually was wondering just how it was so perfectly balanced…) This definitely should have a little balloon.

If you look very closely you’ll see there’s a piece of string or thread attached to the top of the sling. I would imagine that in turn is tied to the top of the tank or a floating device.
