This isn’t necessarily about this post, but I checked out the BBC post referenced and I was a little annoyed to see no mention of Super Sunday. Sure, you see Indians on Mardi Gras but it’s not the only time that they parade and if you want to see *lots* of them Super Sunday is the day that they’re out.

ah, yes, the same clayton cubitt who films pornstars being vibrated to orgasm while they read a passage from their favorite book (helpful search phrase for the pruriently-minded: “hysterical literature”). i never really thought about how directionally-precise microphones can be, until they reduced a hitachi to a faint background hum.
