Of course, we were all told as children that it matters not what one looks like, it's "WHAT'S INSIDE" that matters. As far as gathering places for those with "deformities" go, such places still exist today and in fact flourish. There are societies for amputees, the blind and the deaf and for other, um "deformities" (etc) - and as far as specific sexual fetishes are concerned, the book is wide open.
