The people that ran guns to Central America under Reagan came pouring into town under Bush43 to get a slice of the Iraq War. One of the barely remembered scandals of the War On Terror was when the CIA’s #1 (Porter Goss) and #3 (Dusty Foggo) resigned in a bribery scandal. Foggo was a gunrunner to the contras back when Reagan went senile in his second term, the Iraq War was an all you can eat buffet of corruption for these guys. Many many people went to prison, and the press barely covered it. Congressman Cunningham went to prison in a prostitution and bribery scandal.
