Hannah sez, "I've just recently finished working on a series of pugs in costumes They all turned out to resemble somebody. One looks just like the Queen, one like Hercule Poirot and one very much like a geek with classic, horn-rimmed glasses. In fact, he turned out to look very much like an editor of Boing Boing... Not very flattering but who doesn't want to know how they would look like as a pug?"

Pugs Rings (Thanks, Hannah!)

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

Pugs are the new internet cats. I spend a great deal of my day watching pug videos. This might be one of the best, from the German comedian Loriot:

      Pugs is not cats.

I fully endorse the ring idea.  I can think of no better use for a pug than investment casting.

You can dress them up with hats and facial hair and eyeglasses all you want.  They still all look like Winston Churchill to me.
