I have a request: I get the boingboing rss feed through my google reader.  This is going away.  Could the standard boingboing rss feed be piped into a g+ page and shared?

    • http://www.xeni.net/ Xeni Jardin

I’m not sure. I’ll talk to the gang.

A friendly reminder.  Facebook and Google have built a massive surveillance apparatus designed to spy on every web page you visit in order to sell you to advertisers based on all that private information they collect.

By logging into Facebook or Google, unless you take special care, you are allowing these companies to track you, BY NAME, on any page which contains one of their social OR advertising elements.

Are the presences sufficiently varied that I will gain content by subscribing to multiple sources? I don’t generally follow sites on Twitter/Facebook/G+ because all they post are links to the blog, which I’ve already read.

    • timquinn

there is a lot of different content on the Google+ page. (only one I can vouch for) Submitted by happy mutants. Only a little ends up here.
