In the NYT: A collective hunger strike by Gitmo detainees held for years without trial now involves at least 25 prisoners. That "includes eight who are being force-fed a nutritional supplement through a hose snaked into their nose while they are restrained in a chair." [NYTimes.com]

Try telling me that nose-feeding procedure isn’t torture, performed with malice. Just try.
“Something down the wrong pipe? Oops. Sorry.”

I’m sickened. They are much worse off

Can we just admit that our leadership, military and law enforcement are increasingly dominated by depraved sociopaths who are primarily motivated by a desire to increase human suffering?   Do we need to go on kidding ourselves?

Death is far kinder than being imprisoned at the hands of these people, so of course they won’t let you starve yourself to death.

I am totally disgusted with this. A right to death should be a basic Human right. Forced survival? That’s fucked up. “Sorry, you have to stay alive so we can keep torturing you. Otherwise, we’d be beating a dead horse. Get it? Haha, get it? Okay, now bend over.”
