Inside the Whale Warehouse, behind the scenes at LA's Natural History Museum (video)

Mae Ryan of Southern California radio KPCC shares word of a new web series at the station called "AudioVision," described as "public radio visualized."

Our first installment is a tour of LA's Whale Warehouse — a hidden part of the Natural History Museum that is filled with massive whale skulls, narwhal tusks and over 4,000 dolphin specimens.

Here's the Vimeo link, here's the story on AudioVision.

"The public only gets to see a carefully curated version of the collections at natural history museums," reads the video description. "Hidden from view, there's a second museum, sprawling in scope, full of character and occasionally gross."
