Tremor-correcting steadicam cutlery

Liftlabs makes a $300 cutlery handle that uses stabilization technology to cancel out tremors (such as those arising from Parkinson's disease). It's based on steadicam technology, and in a clinical trial was about 70 percent effective.

The manufacturer presently has a spoon version, but is planning a full set of cutlery as well as a handle for managing keys. It's a very nice idea and has the potential to greatly improve quality of life for people living with tremors. The video also depicts an infant using one, prompting the question of how this might be used in teaching small children basic coordination.
