When you have a Great Pyrenees puppy sometimes he makes mistakes! Even though Nemo is one year old now, he sometimes relieves himself on the carpet. When he does I call in my own personal HazMat team, the Hoover Steam Vac Pet Complete.
Initially, I purchased this thinking I'd only run the Hoover every once in a while. I'm finding that even as Nemo, and his side kick Pretzel, get their heads on straight about house training that running the machine once a month makes the carpeted spaces in my home look much, much better.
Easy to assemble and simple to use, I was up and cleaning within 15 minutes. The device uses hot tap water and some cleaning solution. I go light on solution as I'm not sure how much gets left on the floor. The machine does an impressive job of sucking it back up, however, and the floors are dry in a few hours.
The results were magic! It'd been a year or so since I'd steam cleaned and OMG what a difference it makes. The cleaning attachments are great and allow me to steam the stair tread and work on pieces of furniture. I highly recommend it for carpeted multiple pet homes!
