Microsoft teams up with Animals Asia to fight bear bile farming in China

An announcement that crossed my in-box today: "Microsoft has joined the campaign to end bear bile farming with the development of an interactive website Exploring Moon Bears that explains the plight of China's moon bears and the work of Animals Asia."

"Animals Asia works to end the barbaric bear bile trade, which sees over 10,000 bears – mainly moon bears but also sun bears and brown bears – kept on bile farms in China, and around 2,400 in Vietnam."

It's really a cool little interactive site, created with donated time and resources from Microsoft, and intended to be used by millions of school children. There are Chinese and English language versions available. Includes special features for IE11, but the site works across all browsers on PCs and tablets.
