To create a promo video for his song "I Think You're a Salesman", musician Joshua Van Tassel and director Hiep Vu wanted to see how kindness fared in Toronto. So they suited him up in a cheap suit covered in $2000-worth of ten dollar bills, and had him walk around offering people money.
In exchange, they asked only that the recepients–all filmed covertly and watched by hired security guards, just in cast–pass on the goodwill.
"The results were not at all what anyone expected," writes Joshua, whose 2013 album 'Dream Date' was nomiated 'Electronic Album of the Year' at the East Coast Music Awards.
