Maker Camp: an online summer camp for maker kids

Make and Google have teamed up to offer six weeks' worth of online workshops and programs to help kids 13-18 find and realize their inner makers.

The camp meets live, daily, at 11AM Pacific via Google Hangout. All told, the campers are covering 30 projects, with field trips to places like NASA, Lego and Cartoon Network. Here's the next project:

On Monday, July 21st, Rina Shkrabova and Elise Lemle will be discussing how they combine technology and entertainment to engineer the physical and digital playgrounds of Two Bit Circus! Afterward campers will learn how they can bring the high-tech fun home by customizing their own replica of the classic Operation board game! Just tune in to +MAKE at 11am PT/2pm ET for the live camp session.

Welcome to Maker Camp!
