In 2005, MST3K's Mike Nelson published Goth-Icky: A Macabre Menagerie of Morbid Monstrosities, part of the Pop Ink series — it's a gorgeous graphic tour of four-color monster art that were pulled from the archives of the Charles S. Anderson Design Company.
It's part of a series of amazing art-books that are out of print, but that can easily be had for literally pennies in the used market, which plunder the Anderson archives for some of the greatest, weirdest and kitschiest commercial illustration of the 20th century: Happy Kitty Bunny Pony: A Saccharine Mouthful of Super Cute; Love Sick: A Smoldering Look at Love, Lust, and Marriage and Fluffy Humpy Poopy Puppy: A Ruff, Dog-Eared Look at Man's Best Friend, to name just three.
