Kickstarting Tinyscreen: thumbsized color screen from the Tinyduino people

Ken writes, "We're a small hardware company based out of Akron, OH in the US in the US that make tiny electronics and have a popular platform called the TinyDuino (a small Arduino compatible board)."

We've just launched TinyScreen on Kickstarter, which lets users create and hack their own devices, including smart watches and smart glasses, and all sorts of other things as well. The campaign is going great and got funded in under 8 hours, and we're getting really great feedback on the idea.

$25 gets the screen; $55 gets you the screen, a Tinyduino, a shield and a battery. All Kickstarters carry the risk that you'll lose your money, but these folks have shipped a lot of hardware successfully!

TinyScreen: A color display the size of your thumb!

(Thanks, Ken!)
