But he hired his protege Patrick Dowd — who still draws a paycheck from Uncle Sugar — to moonlight for his company, which has the self-parodying name "Ironnet Cybersecurity."
He's not the only ranking spook with a foot in the private security firm; the home of Teresa Shea, the chief of the NSA Signals Intelligence Directorate, is also registered as a private cybersecurity business, run by her husband. Among its assets are a private plane.
