Full of detailed and colorful illustrations of everything in a home, this book is organized into sections that cover specific parts of a house (plumbing, wiring, heating, cooling, appliances, windows, doors, foundations and frames), each including text along with beautiful diagrams. There are also sidebars called "Before calling for help…" with basic troubleshooting ideas that can save you money.
