Each 250,000 of the CAH Holiday Bullshit subscribers got one square foot of a wooded island in Maine, called Hawaii 2 (nee Birch Island).
The owners are subject to a license agreement that lets them do anything nondestructive (trees are especially sacrosanct: "If you hurt a tree on the Private Island, we will curse your family for a thousand (1,000) generations"). It's really intended to be a shared space for wildlife recreation activities.
The CAH project also raised $250K for the Sunlight Foundation.
