You probably know him better from his days on Let's Make A Deal, as Monty Hall.
But in 1944, he was Monte Halparin, the University of Manitoba Student Union President. Monty will celebrate his 94th birthday this August, 71 years after his election.
To me, Monty is just Grandpa. He pinches my cheeks, taught me to play cards, and tells me things like: "No matter who you marry, you get one goat dowry. But if you marry a Jew? Two goats."
I'm not, incidentally, marrying a Jew. So I guess I only get one goat?
