Big Content publishes a love-letter to TPP

The secretive, corrupt, illegitimate Trans-Pacific Partnership would bind its members — including the USA and Canada — to criminalize file-sharing, putting people in jail for watching TV the wrong way, and that's just fine with the copyright lobbyist group Global Intellectual Property Center.

The Global Intellectual Property Center has responded to the controversy about the TPP by publishing an insane, over-the-top "love letter" to TPP, featuring swooning odes to breaking the Internet, imprisoning children, and the secret fashioning of laws by big business in smoke filled rooms.

You know, dear TPP, that I will drop to one knee and say "I do" for gold—no, diamond—standards for intellectual property. My creative and innovative talents need your protection. Without trade agreements like you, it would be a long, hard journey to jumpstart our economies.
