In the market for a spork? Try the Toaks

spork-in-case

[UPDATE: Here's my review of the other stuff I carry in my little flight case.] When I travel on business, I often buy takeout food from Whole Foods or a similar supermarket and bring it back to my room to eat while I binge watch a show on my iPad. Instead of using plastic cutlery, I use the Toaks titanium spork ($9).

Because it's made of titanium it is light: 0.6 oz. I keep it in my travel case and I don't even know it's there until I need it. It's more spoonish than forkish, which is the way I like it. (If you are looking for the best of both worlds, the Light My Fire spork is a good bet, which isn't really a spork, but rather handle with a fork on one end and a spoon on the other.)
