Dublin paper shop transforms anti-LGBT hate pamphlets into fun confetti

Now this is brilliant.

Ireland's upcoming referendum on marriage equality has inspired Dublin paper shop Daintree to sell "A Shred of Decency," confetti recycled from from homophobic leaflets being distributed throughout the country.

"At Daintree, paper is our favourite thing in the whole world," the company explains. "So when paper was used to spread some ugly lies in the run up to the marriage equality referendum we weren't one bit happy. So we put our heads together and came up with a new product called 'A Shred of Decency' – it's confetti made from 100% recycled lies."

Bags of the confetti are available for €5 each. Daintree says all of the proceeds from A Shred of Decency will go to Yes Equality, a pro-same sex marriage organization.

Shred of Decency is available to buy in Daintree Paper on Dublin's Camden Street, or online at shredofdecency.ie.
