Michael W. Holman of Milligan, Florida, walked into First Assembly of God Church around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to the arrest report.
He was belligerent and using profanities and was asked to leave the church, a request he complied with. He smelled of alcohol and seemed to have balance issues and trouble walking toward State Road 4, the report said.
An off-duty Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputy who was attending services at the church became concerned for Holman's safety and went to speak with him.
