Call for papers: Copycamp in Warsaw

Marta from the Modern Poland Foundation writes, "we've announced an open call for speakers at the 4th International CopyCamp Conference (November 4, 2015 in Warsaw, Poland) focused around the impacts of copyright on the social changes around the world."

I keynoted at this event last year — it was fantastic.

CopyCamp is a neutral platform of debate among lawyers, artists, politicians, academics, NGOs, businesses and the media but also everyone who wants to present their views on the international forum within the following tracks:

*
CopyArt

*
Models of Remuneration

*
Copyright and Education

*
Technology and Innovation

*
Copyright and Human Rights

*
Technologies in Social Activism

*
Copyright Enforcement

*

*
Copyright Debate

This year our special guest will be Lev Manovich, critic of new media and visual artist, Professor at The Graduate Center, CUNY, and a Director of the Software Studies Initiative, author of the world famous book The Language of New Media.

If you wish to make a 10-minute speech at CopyCamp, please log an abstract of not more than 1800 characters online (http://copycamp.pl/en/contact/register-speaker/) by July 20.
